Well That Sucks!

So, I got this piano keyboard when I was like five, it was a great keyboard, I loved it. Well, I finally decided to learn to play piano this year, and so I was sittin here today playin it, and it broke. The screen just like twitched, and the speakers blew and just are all like scratchy sounding now. It kinda pisses me off. So, now I have to go and spend like four hundred dollars on a new one. So, I'll be broke, again. Well, that's all for now, just needed to rant. So, I'm out. pce

Linux & Election

So, I finally decided that I was fed up and done with Windows Vista, so, in return I downloaded Ubuntu Linux 8.10. It is pretty awesome so far, only it took me an hour to get my Atheros wireless card to work with it. Overall, I would definitely suggest getting it. I'm out for now, but I leave you all with one thing in the spirit of the election.

So, this is a REALLY late post, but anyways, over the Christmas break from school last month, I found an awesome site called www.signaturebar.com, it's awesome, the designs that people make are stunning. Well I decided that I wanted to make graphics too, so, I downloaded a free raphic design program called GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). It is prettty amazing if you ask me.

What a refreshing experience!

Hmm... so we just had fall retreat, 'twas really refreshing. Makes since though seeing as the theme was "Be Refreshed." It just really made me think about how much stress we put upon ourselves. Often times the stress isn't even ours. We take on so much and never let it go. Sometimes we just need to stop whatever we are doing, put down our phones, turn off the TV, put down your iPod and just, relax, pray, meditate. Just let it go. I don't really know what to say. Have YOU Relaxed Today"

Gas

Wow, so I just got home after driving around for about a half an hour trying to find gas. That drive gave me plenty of time to think about this whole situation. Why is it that the states that are closest to the refineries and have their own pipelines have the highest gas prices. Even more curious, why was there no plan set in place if this were to happen as it did. I am currently in a city outside of Atlanta named Norcross. In the whole city, or almost the whole city, we only found one station that had any gas. It is not a small city either. Was it not inevitable to the government that a hurricane would hit the coast (no duh) and affect the refineries. Seriously. It is not that hard to find out.  I just want to know when this is going to end. Well I have to go now. Got to catch the MARTA train home.
