Gas

Wow, so I just got home after driving around for about a half an hour trying to find gas. That drive gave me plenty of time to think about this whole situation. Why is it that the states that are closest to the refineries and have their own pipelines have the highest gas prices. Even more curious, why was there no plan set in place if this were to happen as it did. I am currently in a city outside of Atlanta named Norcross. In the whole city, or almost the whole city, we only found one station that had any gas. It is not a small city either. Was it not inevitable to the government that a hurricane would hit the coast (no duh) and affect the refineries. Seriously. It is not that hard to find out.  I just want to know when this is going to end. Well I have to go now. Got to catch the MARTA train home.
